Voyage Through Glorious Time OF AIR FORCE SCHOOL PANCHWATI

 

Air Force School Panchwati has a legacy of three and half decades. Having commenced in the year 1986 to cater educational needs of the wards of Air warriors of AMSF/CESCAL and its vicinity.

From 1986 to March 1995, school was located in the domestic area of Air Force Station Basant Nagar and was called as Vidya Mandir School.

In the year 1995 School was upgraded to primary school

  • 2015-16 class 6
  • 2016-17 class 7
  • 2017-18 class 8

In the year 2018 School was upgraded to middle school

  • 2018-19 class 9
  • 2019-20 class 10

In the year 2020 School was upgraded to secondary school

  • In year 2023 new section for Class VI and Pre LKG was introduced.
  • In year 2024 new section for Class VII will be introduced.

The school was re-named as Air Force School Panchwati in year 2000. The first batch of 10th standard students passed from its portals in 2020 with 100% result. The trend continues till date.

  • 2002 – Best Primary/Middle School in Maintenance Command
  • 2004 – Best Primary/Middle School in Maintenance Command
  • 2006 – Best Primary School in Maintenance Command
  • 2007 – Best Primary School in Maintenance Command
  • 2009 – Best Primary School in Maintenance Command
  • 2012 – Runners Up Primary School in Maintenance Command
  • 2014 – Runners Up Primary School in Maintenance Command
  • 2016 – Best Primary/Middle School in Maintenance Command
  • 2017 – Best Primary/Middle School award in the Maintenance Command
  • 2022 – Best Secondary School in Indian Air Force
  • 2022 – Best Air Force School in Maintenance Command
  • 2023 – Second Runner Up Best School Academics

First time in the 36 years the school got Best Secondary School in Air Force Trophy. Flt Lt Naini Gupta, Executive Director and Mrs. Reetika Jain, Principal received the prestigious trophy at Eds and Principals workshop.

 

 

Today the Air Force School Panchwati is reckoned among the good schools in Delhi Cantt with magnificent building furnished with advance Teaching Aids in each class room and user friendly to the little ones. Infinity lab in line with Atal Tinkering Lab. The School is having all sports facilities like Basketball ground and large covered Assembly area, Gurukul and traffic park.

Up-gradation of the school to middle standards was taken up and the permission was granted in March 2015. Class VI was started in the academic session 2015-16 and standard VII has begun 2016 -17 form Apr 01 2016. 1 section each has been added to LKG and UKG. The KG section has been renovated in bright attractive colours and the class rooms are more user friendly to the little ones.
